Show Jumping Success

Nicola Moon and Perry won the individual Area 12 Senior Novice winter show jumping championship at Pontispool on Saturday 31st October. Nicola beat 71 competitors to take the title. WSRC did not enter a team in the senior team event.

At the junior competition on Sunday 1st November, Bryony Richardson and Tequila Dante won the individual Area 12 Junior Novice winter show jumping championship.

Bryony, Esther Freeman (Dublin's Delight) and Shannon White (Tullacana Star) came 2nd in the Junior team novice winter show jumping event and were unlucky not to qualify for the national winter novice indoor show jumping finals. Unfortunately only five of the eight teams taking part in the Area 12 junior championship had elected to attempt to qualify for the National Novice Winter Indoor Show Jumping Finals at Hartpury in April 2010, so only one team (Taunton and District Riding Club, the winning team) was able to qualify.
