WSRC has a very large catchment area ranging from Oare in the West to Kilve in the East and from Minehead on the Bristol Channel coast in the North to Dulverton in the South. Most of the Exmoor National Park also lies within the West Somerset Riding Club Area.
Aiming to encourage members of all abilities in all disciplines, WSRC endeavours to offer something for everyone and is regularly represented at grassroots ” Rising Star “ events as well as at Area 12 & National Level.
The WSRC has its own set of Jump 4 Joy show jumps and dressage arena boards and there is a regular programme of jumping and flatwork clinics held throughout the year as well as cross country training at local venues.
There are monthly “in house “ dressage & show jumping training competitions for all abilities run as part of an Accumulator Series where WSRC members gain points towards trophies awarded at the end of year AGM & Presentations Evening. There are also WSRC members only C T Training Competitions, opportunities to take part in endurance riding, pleasure rides and “horsey socials”!
We look forward to meeting you!
